Prof. Ching-Fa Yao
Physical Organic Chemistry and Organic Synthesis
He received his Ph. D degree from Iowa State University (USA) under the tutelage of Prof. Glen A. Russell.
He continued his research in the same group as post doctoral associate.
After spending one year, he moved to Georgia Institute of Technology for his second post doctoral position.
He joined as Associate Professor in the department of chemistry, National Taiwan Normal University, in 1993.
He was promoted to professor in 1999.
His current research interests are the development of novel synthetic methodologies involving nitroalkenes.
